Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of Health officials during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines via the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: “It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be harmful.
“These types of products being sold, normally online, have actually gone through no quality control and there can be no guarantee about their .
“You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not understand the result drugs like this may have on your health.”
